I survived my visit with my mother...She is early alzheimers so she repeats herself constantly...but it was a great visit. We did alot of scrapbooking and she loves when I make her some pages. We went to the zoo with both girls and all the grandkids when she was here and then had dinner with the whole family at chuck a rama. She loves Antelope Island so I broke down and got a pass. We made 3 trips over there..
Here are the pages I made for my Mom while she was here:
I find that I like to scrapbook a variety of pictures ..but I always come back to needing to do pages of Jason to keep the memories alive. Here are the Jason pages I have done in the past 2 weeks:
It is emotional to do these pages...The reality one really brought the tears...
Christine opened up the piano to do some repairs and found 3 unopened notes to me for Mothers Day from many years ago. The "Notes" page has Jason's note to me...It was teary to open these precious notes from many years ago.
I also have done the following pages....always a variety...that is what I love about this hobby..
I am starting to get ready for my retreat in Tennessee on the 20th. It is a Parents of Suicides/Friends and Family of Suicide Group. I was fortunate to go last year. It is so awesome to meet these wonderful online friends that are always there for me..
I am forever grateful for the time I have to spend with my daughters and grandchildren. I love my scrapbook room and spend hours each week creating...
I am thankful to know that families are forever and that I will be able to see Jason and Erica again. Such a blessing!
